Global Deployment Of Rapid Diagnostic Tests to Boost Fight Against Cholera
The arrival of rapid diagnostic test (RDT) kits for cholera in Malawi has kicked off a global initiative to distribute 1.2 million kits to 14 high-risk countries.
Countries like Ethiopia, Somalia, Syria, and Zambia will soon receive kits which aid in early detection of cholera outbreak and prompt response. This program aims to enhance routine surveillance, testing, and prompt identification of potential cholera cases.
